Providing Speech, Language, & AAC Therapy
"Communication is the essence of human life."
Andrea brings over 8 years of experience to Speech-Language Technologies as a speech-language pathologist. Her collaborative and client-centered therapy style comes from her experience working in skilled nursing facilities, home health, acute care, and private practice.
At Speech-Language Technologies, we are committed to improving clients' lives through developing meaningful and motivating goals and educating and involving family members to increase communication confidence.
Speech-Language Technologies provides speech, language, and augmentative alternative communication therapy to children and adults in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Deerfield Beach. Parkland, Coral Springs, Margate, Plantation, and Pompano Beach. We also offer remote trainings or therapy options via teletherapy.
At Speech Language Technologies our mission is to provide speech, language, and AAC therapy to individuals with complex communication needs.
We are committed to giving a voice to the voiceless and debunking the myths of AAC through education and training.
Andrea works with adults and children of all ages experiencing communication, cognitive, and swallowing challenges.
We specialize in the area of augmentative alternative communication, specifically using eye gaze as the access method.
In our therapy practice, we never use the one-size-fits-all model. Every session, whether in-home or via teletherapy, is tailored to the client. We spend quality time making sure our therapy is tailored to each clients unique goals and needs while involving important communication partners along the way.
Andrea's passion for speaking up for the voiceless was the reason for starting Speech-Language Technologies. A client early in her career with complex language needs allowed her to understand and celebrate the strengths of her clients while breaking down their barriers to communicating.
As an empathetic and patient therapist, Andrea teaches and supports clients in accessing and successfully using augmentative alternative communication (AAC) devices. She also works with clients with swallowing, speech, and language disorders.
